The Red Devils, after defeating Sunderland and Liverpool, aim for a trio of victories straight this evening. Confidence is high under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!

Yet, Brighton come from the south coast, having triumphed on each of their last three trips at Manchester United’s home, and six of the last seven encounters head-to-head.

Squad Updates

Manchester United make a couple of alterations following last week’s victory at Anfield last weekend. Benjamin Šeško comes in replacing Mount, now on the substitutes, while last week’s win-securing hero Harry Maguire doesn’t feature completely, Yoro replaces him in defence.

An issue arose this week in practice. Malacia returns on the bench for the first time this season.

Brighton have made one change post-success against over Newcastle. It’s ostensibly a defensive one, bringing in Maxim De Cuyper replacing Gómez, who drops to the bench.

The striker, a member of the last Manchester United squad to win the Premier League during the 2012-13 season, comes back to Manchester on a hot streak of four goals in three games, exceeding his tally from 15 prior games.

Build-Up

Amorim is unfazed for the opinions of the Reds’ manager … yet Welbeck is mindful regarding the plans from the German coach.
